iPhone 8 and 8 Plus Launch in India at Rs 64,000: Where to Buy, Specs, Offers
Apple unveiled iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, alongside iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 3 and other announcements at their keynote event earlier this month in Cupertino. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are launching in India on Friday and will retail at a starting price of Rs 64,000 and Rs 73,000, respectively.
According to the Apple websit, the devices will be available at authorized Apple stores and also stores of telecom operators like Airtel and Vodafone.
Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are available for pre-order on Flipkar and Amazoncurrently.
Price List
Both the devices are being offered in two variants with 64GB and 256GB internal storage. The complete price list is as follows:
- iPhone 8 (64GB): Rs 64,000
- iPhone 8 (256GB): Rs 77,000
- iPhone 8 Plus (64GB):Rs 73,000
- iPhone 8 Plus (256GB): Rs 86,000
Offers
Jio is also offering a 70 percent buyback offer alongwith the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus that will give you a rebate of Rs 44,800. This buyback offer can be availed after 12 months only if the customer continues Jio subscription for that long and recharges their sim with Rs 799-worth iPhone plan for 12 consecutive months.
In addition to this offer, Citibank customers can also avail a cashback of Rs 10,000.
Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
The iPhone 8 offers a 4.7-inch LCD display while the iPhone 8 Plus offers a 5.5-inch one. The LCD offers true tone colors, along with cinema wide color gamut. As expected, Apple’s 3D Touchwill be a part of both the devices.
